Classes & Events for August 2010
Tuesday Evening Technique Club: August 3, 6:30-8:30, $TBD. Do you want to learn different techniques? Come and join us for this new club! There is no charge for this class, but you will need to buy the supplies for the project. Please bring a basic tool kit.
Layout Day & Free Crop Day: August 4 & 18, 10-4. You can come anytime during this time & copy a layout or you can purchase a kit and do it later. Price based on the products used in the layout. Bring a basic tool kit. We have all the tools you need for these layouts. Do you want a day many cards where you can come in and crop some of your photos? This day is set up for cropping and doing the Layout kits.
Intro to Scrapbooking: August 5 & 12, 6:30-8:30, $30 for both classes. Are you new to scrapbooking or would like to learn more about scrapbooking? You will complete a one page layout each night, plus you will learn the basics of scrapbooking, including what you need, where to begin, organizing your photos, and even the terms. Teacher: Dolores

QuicKutz Club: August 9, 10-12 or 6:30-8:30, or August 11, 6:30-8:30. Do you love QuicKutz as much as we do, then this club is for you. We will complete a wonderful project using QK products. There is no charge for this class, but you will need to buy the supplies to do the project. Please bring a basic tool kit. Special promotion on QuicKutz, only available to club members at the meeting only. NOTE: IT IS MANDATORY TO HAVE A QK TOOL TO ATTEND THIS CLUB MEETING. BE SURE TO BRING YOUR TOOL WITH YOU.
Introduction to Flower Soft: August 10, 10-12 or 6:30-8:30, $TBD, Have you seen the Flower Soft products and are not sure how to use them? In this class you will learn how to use Flower Soft. This product is easy and economical to use. Please bring a basic tool kit. Teacher: Dolores
$1 Card Day: August 11 & 25, 10-3. You can make as many cards as you want for $1 a card.
No Frills Crop: August 13 & 27, 6-12, $5 - Come crop for the evening.
Copy Cat Layout Day: August 14, 10-5 - The layout days we have been doing are so popular; we are doing a full day of layouts. Come and copy as many layouts as you want during the day. We will have many to choose from and you can copy those you like. Price based on the products used in the layouts you choose to copy. You will need to bring a basic tool kit including your adhesive.
Punch Card Class: August 16, 10-12:30 or 6-8:30, $20. In this class you will make 3 gorgeous cards from punches. Please bring a basic tool kit. Teacher: Patty
Christmas in August Card Class: August 17, 10-12 or 6:30-8:30, $20. Start making your Christmas cards early this year. In this class you will make 3 cards. Please bring a basic tool kit. Teacher: Darlene
Christmas Stitch Layout Class: August 19, 10-12 or 6:30-8:30, $TBD. In this class you will learn how to make elegant stitched pages. Please bring a basic tool kit. Teacher: Dolores
FREE Day Crop: August 20, 12-6, NO CHARGE for this crop. You must sign up to make sure we have spaces left. Bring your scrapbooking supplies and crop from 12 - 6.
All Day Crop: August 21, 10-10, $45. This crop will include lunch, dinner, snacks and a goodie bag. Come join us for some fun cropping all day.
Amuse Fall Card Class: August 23, 10-12 or 6:30-8:30 $20 You will make 4 cards in this class. Please bring a basic tool kit. Teacher: Beth
Watercolor Card Class: August 24, 10-12 or 6:30-8:30, $20. Do you love the look of watercolors? Would you like to be able to do them yourself? You will learn the basics in this great watercolor class. You will create a couple of cards, too. Bring a basic tool kit. Teacher: Patty
Grunge Club: August 26, 6:30-8:30, $TBD, Come and join us for our monthly Grunge Club. There is no charge for this class, but you will need to buy the supplies to do the project. Please bring a basic tool kit. Teacher: Dolores
Demo Day: August 28, 11-3, No Charge. We have a representative for Stampendous, Debra Dunn that will be demoing a new technique called PAINTING WITH POWDER. Come join us to see this new technique.
Recipe Class: August 30, 11-1 or 6:30-8:30, $20, you will make 4 recipe cards & sample a couple the recipes. Bring a basic tool kit. Teacher: Dolores
Copic Marker Club: August 31, 10-12 or 6:30-8:30, $60. Please join Beth, our Certified Copic Instructor, at the second quarterly meeting of our Copic Club. All supplies will be provided, just come prepared for some coloring fun!

Prepayment is mandatory $60.00. Meeting includes instruction on how to use your Copic markers. A new technique will be included in each meeting. In order to keep the cost down, we will learn coloring techniques but not completed projects. You will go home with stamped and colored card fronts or journal blocks.
You must pre-register for all classes.
